Experience aquavit, the “water of life,” as it’s meant to be; paired with traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches - smørrebrød - and draft beer from Anarkist or Nørrebro Bryghus. Our host will share the rich history of aquavit and its role in Danish culinary culture. A perfect blend of flavor and storytelling.

RAW, REFINED, and RARE embody Copenhagen Whisky. Crafted with organic Danish barley and matured in virgin Hungarian oak, these editions highlight distinct approaches to whisky-making, each with its own story to tell.

Do you like your coffee strong? Then, we have good news for you. We are happy to present our latest experiment - a successful attempt to capture the very essence of coffee. Coffee Spirit has no added sugar, no disturbing side flavors. It's just a single estate bean, chosen and distilled with all the care and love that defines us.

A zesty contemporary profile with a distinctly Nordic aftertaste. Crisp lemon peel lifts a harmonious balance of aquavit’s traditional dill, expressed with earthy seeds and fresh fronds, and globally-enjoyed green anise.

Gin, reimagined. A fruit-forward evolution that breathes new life into an age-old spirit. Orange Gin is a harmonious blend of rich, complex oranges and bold juniper. The addition of allspice brings a touch of warmth, green cardamom infuses vibrancy, and prune deepens the flavor palette. Sipped neat, the gin delivers a satisfying bitter orange kick. In a cocktail, the sweet oranges expand, resulting in a delightful burst of fruity citrus.

Aquavit's fresh dill and caraway botanicals revitalise bold classic juniper in the Angelica Gin. Pink peppercorn enlivens and turmeric grounds the mix, over broad angelica root. Enjoyed neat, Angelica Gin is a bright, clean gin. Mixed, the spirit opens into a rich, elegant flavour profile.

Despite how you may have seen throughout various countries and brands, the Etymology of the iconic Scandinavian spirit harkens back to the poetic latin ‘Aqua Vitae’ meaning ‘Water of Life.’ Many are skeptic towards aquavit and snaps, but at Copenhagen Distillery, we have taken a cherished opportunity to bring quality and great taste to the traditional spirit.

Distilled with long pepper and dill seeds, Long Pepper Aquavit is a testament to the idea that simplicity is often best. The long pepper provides a soft and fruity expression, rounding out the sharp end typically associated with traditional aquavit. With an uncomplicated and smooth blend of botanicals, Long Pepper Aquavit is an excellent pairing for meat dishes without overpowering the taste buds. In cocktails, it's often used as a substitute for white rum, as its roundness makes for a much more balanced flavor that's hard to achieve with white rum.

Join a whisky tasting at Copenhagen Distillery in the heart of Copenhagen. Learn about Danish whisky, Nordic grains and our distillation process. You begin in the cocktail bar with a welcome drink prepared by our friendly bartenders. From there, we walk through the factory together and explore how we make our spirit from grain to cask. We finish with a tasting of the full whisky portfolio. When the session ends, you’re welcome to stay in the bar and enjoy more drinks at your own pace.
