RAW embodies our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. Made from 100% malted barley, RAW is distilled and matured in non-charred virgin Hungarian oak casks for an average of 3.5 years. This straightforward approach results in a bold and sophisticated whisky, showcasing the exceptional quality of our organic Danish ingredients and meticulous production process. Expect a harmonious blend of sweet ripe stone fruit, heather honey, and coconut notes, balanced with white pepper and cloves, leading to a distinctively dry finish. Appearance

Intense dark amber color with heavy oils.

The Aroma/Nose

Sweet notes of ripe stone fruit, heather honey, malted barley, oak.

The Palate

Sweet cane sugar molasses, coconut, vanilla, white pepper, cloves.

The Finish

Dryness from oak tannins, soft bitterness from green almonds.

Beauty in the Morning

While the Irish allegedly came up with adding whisky to warm coffee, we Danes have a thing we call kaf’puns - literally coffee punch. The recipe is a cultural gem. Put a coin in a cup. Add sugar until you can’t see the coin, coffee until you can’t see the sugar, and aquavit until you can see the coin again. We took that thought and made an effort to make it delicious. It worked so well, that it ended up as cocktail of the month in Whisky Magazine.

Winter Wonderland

The Winter Wonderland is an old recipe from the Copenhagen Cocktailbar Ruby’s back catalogue. It was made by Sune and won the Danish Marie Brizard Nationals half a life ago. This version replaces the original peated scotch with an equal mix of our RAW whisky and Julesnaps. Less smoke, more body, all Copenhagen.
