A Danish whisky based on the ancient grain Emmer, characterized by an intense and complex profile of honey, warm spices and lime peel. Emmer is a predecessor of wheat, a smaller grain rich in flavor. It is slowly coming back into fashion for brewers and distillers, but the amount of husk compared to kernels makes it a complicated friendship. It is worth the trouble though.
